Effective Date:May 1, 2026
These Website Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website, online portal, software, forms, content, and related online services provided by My Insurance Tracker LLC d/b/a Insurance Checker, also referred to as “Inschecker,” “Insurance Checker,” “we,” “us,” or “our.”
By accessing or using our website or services, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the website or services on behalf of a company, association, contractor, agency, client, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not access or use the website or services.
1. About Insurance Checker
Insurance Checker provides tools and services designed to help businesses and organizations track, monitor, collect, review, and validate certificates of insurance, endorsements, policy information, renewal information, and related compliance documentation for vendors, subcontractors, tenants, unit owners, slip holders, contractors, insureds, or other third parties.
Insurance Checker does not sell insurance, bind coverage, issue policies, underwrite risk, provide insurance quotes, or act as an insurance carrier. Unless separately agreed in writing, Insurance Checker does not provide legal, tax, accounting, risk-management, brokerage, or insurance coverage advice. Any information provided through the website or services is for administrative and informational purposes only.
2. Eligibility and Authorized Use
You must be at least 18 years old to use the website or services. The website and services are intended for business and organizational use, not for use by children.
You agree to use the website and services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms, any applicable agreement between you and Insurance Checker, and all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
3. Relationship to Other Agreements
These Terms apply to general website and online service use. If you or your organization has entered into a separate written agreement with Insurance Checker, including a master services agreement, order form, statement of work, subscription agreement, partner agreement, or client services agreement, that separate agreement will control if there is a conflict with these Terms.
4. Accounts, Credentials, and Security
Certain areas of the website or services may require a user ID, password, or other access credentials. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to notify us promptly if you believe your account credentials have been lost, stolen, compromised, or used without authorization. We may suspend or restrict access to any account if we believe the account has been compromised, misused, or used in violation of these Terms.
5. Information You Submit
You may submit, upload, transmit, or otherwise provide information through the website or services, including contact information, business information, certificates of insurance, policy details, renewal information, endorsements, contracts, coverage requirements, notes, messages, or other materials (“User Content”).
You represent and warrant that you have all rights, permissions, and authority necessary to provide User Content to Insurance Checker and to allow Insurance Checker to use that User Content as described in these Terms and any applicable agreement.
You grant Insurance Checker a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit, reproduce, display, and use User Content as reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure, improve, and support the website and services; communicate with you and relevant parties; verify compliance; and fulfill our contractual and legal obligations.
You remain responsible for the accuracy, completeness, legality, and reliability of all User Content you provide. Insurance Checker may remove, reject, or restrict access to User Content if we believe it violates these Terms, applicable law, third-party rights, security requirements, or our service standards.
6. Certificate and Coverage Information
Insurance Checker may review or validate insurance-related information based on documents, data, coverage requirements, and communications provided by users, insureds, agents, brokers, carriers, property managers, contractors, vendors, clients, or other third parties.
Insurance Checker does not guarantee that any insurance policy is active, sufficient, collectible, enforceable, or compliant with any contract, lease, loan requirement, statute, regulation, or risk-management standard. Certificates of insurance are informational documents and may not amend, extend, or alter the coverage provided by the underlying policy.
You are responsible for confirming coverage, limits, exclusions, endorsements, contractual requirements, and legal obligations with the appropriate insurance professional, attorney, carrier, broker, agent, or other qualified advisor.
7. Privacy
Our collection, use, disclosure, and protection of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the website or services, you acknowledge that we may collect and process information as described in the Privacy Policy and as otherwise permitted by applicable law and agreement.
8. Communications, Email, and Text Messages
By providing contact information to Insurance Checker, you authorize us to contact you regarding your inquiry, account, services, compliance status, uploaded documents, renewals, support requests, demos, partner opportunities, and other business-related matters.
If you opt in to receive text messages, you agree that Insurance Checker and its service providers may send you SMS or similar messages at the phone number you provide. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any service. You may opt out by replying STOP or by following instructions provided in the message. You may request help by replying HELP or contacting us through the website.
9. Intellectual Property

Subject to these Terms, Insurance Checker grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the website and services for your authorized business purposes. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms or a separate written agreement.

13. Disclaimers
THE WEBSITE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INSURANCE CHECKER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, SECURITY, AND ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
INSURANCE CHECKER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE WEBSITE, SERVICES, REPORTS, NOTIFICATIONS, DOCUMENT REVIEWS, COMPLIANCE STATUSES, OR OTHER OUTPUTS WILL BE COMPLETE, ACCURATE, TIMELY, OR SUFFICIENT FOR YOUR PARTICULAR BUSINESS, LEGAL, INSURANCE, CONTRACTUAL, OR RISK-MANAGEMENT NEEDS.
Nothing on the website or in the services should be construed as legal, insurance, tax, accounting, underwriting, claims, or professional advice.
14. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INSURANCE CHECKER AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, REPRESENTATIVES, LICENSORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOST PROFITS; LOST REVENUE; LOST BUSINESS; LOST DATA; BUSINESS INTERRUPTION; PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES; OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM COVERAGE GAPS, CLAIMS, DENIALS, CONTRACTUAL DISPUTES, OR THIRD-PARTY ACTIONS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INSURANCE CHECKER’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE WEBSITE, SERVICES, OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO INSURANCE CHECKER FOR THE WEBSITE OR SERVICES GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM DURING THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY; OR (B) $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
15. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Insurance Checker and its owners, officers, directors, employees, contractors, representatives, licensors, service providers, and affiliates from and against any claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to:
- your access to or use of the website or services;
- your User Content;
- your violation of these Terms or any applicable agreement;
- your violation of applicable law or third-party rights;

- any dispute between you and any insured, vendor, subcontractor, tenant, client, partner, agent, broker, carrier, property manager, contractor, owner, association, or other third party.
16. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the website or services at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, created legal or security risk, failed to pay amounts due, used the services in an unauthorized manner, or otherwise acted in a way that may harm Insurance Checker, its clients, users, partners, or third parties.
Upon termination, your right to access and use the website and services will cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law, and dispute provisions.
17. Changes to These Terms
Insurance Checker may update these Terms from time to time. When we update the Terms, we may revise the Effective Date above or provide other notice as appropriate. Your continued use of the website or services after updated Terms are posted or otherwise made available means you accept the updated Terms.
18. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the website, or the services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Missouri, unless a separate written agreement between you and Insurance Checker provides otherwise. You consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or, if modification is not possible, severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
20. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights or obligations under these Terms without Insurance Checker’s prior written consent. Insurance Checker may assign or transfer these Terms, in whole or in part, without restriction, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, sale of assets, change of control, or by operation of law.
21. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with any policies or notices incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and Insurance Checker regarding your use of the website and services, except to the extent you or your organization has entered into a separate written agreement with Insurance Checker.
